Marie-France Roy broke trail from her roots in Eastern Canada to her current life, split between Whistler and Vancouver Island. She’s a professional snowboarder, environmental activist, entrepreneur, cob home builder, future seaweed farmer, and board member of Protect Our Winters (POW) Canada.
We chatted about her love of doing things she's never done before, balancing “Go For It” with “Captain Safety”, and how snowboarding recharges her to keep fighting for the environment.
